A pull wire switch is a crucial safety mechanism for shutting down conveyors and other industrial machinery in an emergency. It operates using trip wires that, when pulled, activate the switch and stop the machinery. Our range of Safe-T-Pull switches, including the STP-P, STP-A, STP-SSB, and PS-P models, prioritize safety and compliance with IEC 60947-5-5 and AS4024 standards.
SIL 3 Capable Pull Wire System
Safe-T Pull is now officially certified to IEC 61508 as a SIL 3-capable system.
This certification was awarded following a successful Exida Assessment Audit, confirming that Safe-T Pull meets all required functional safety standards.

- Tamper Proof Switch Plate Mechanism.
- Absolute simplicity in initial setup and adjustment. All Set Point adjustments are done from the outside of the enclosure.
- Cam design compensates for pull wire expansion/contraction up to 30mm either side of the set point. Eliminates nuisance tripping due to vibration.
- Double lip oil seals on pull rods and reset operator for secure dust and weather protection to IP 66/67.
- Every device is individually automation tested, electrically and mechanically with Test Certificates available.
